If mind is ultimate subject, as Wei Wu Wei reminds us over and and over again, then mind is what ‘right now’ is, in its entirety. This means ‘right now’ is what mind is dreaming. If this includes ‘everything,’ then noting has any reality other than content in the dream mind is dreaming. Truth in other words is absolute. There isn’t mind dreaming this, and something else ‘going on’ outside of this. If truth is absolute, then the dream mind is dreaming includes ‘us creating duality to defend the fiction we exist outside of the dream mind is dreaming.’ The dream includes this as content in the dream, which means this can only be what the dreamers in this dream are doing in the dream mind is dreaming.
If everything can only be content in this mind generated dream, then the question of who is, or isn’t “ignorant” isn’t relevant. There is no one to be ignorant. The dream includes dreamers who are 1) flat with the fact right now is the dream mind is dreaming, so nothing ‘going on’ has, or ever had, anything to do with people, and dreamers featured in the dream 2) creating duality to defend the fiction they exist outside the dream mind is dreaming. The dreamer’s presentation in the dream falls somewhere between awake, and one with the truth, and deep in trance, filling time relying on the creation of duality to defend “The Master Lie,” that THIS is real, and not the dream mind is dreaming, and all the dreamers in the dream are the people they are imPERSONating in the dream.
The dream displays where all the dreamers in the dream are with the fact truth is absolute: nothing exists outside the dream mind is dreaming, and the dream displays where the dreamers are featured with the truth, somewhere between the absolute and the defense of ‘the relative.’
When a dreamer in the dream is flat with the fact truth is absolute, it is awake in the dream. It knows ‘right now’ is the dream mind is dreaming, and that it is a dreamer in the dream mind is dreaming. It has no investment in the fiction it is a person. It knows separation from mind isn’t possible because mind is what ‘everything’ is. It knows that because mind is what ‘everything’ is, there is no such thing as duality. It also knows mind features the vast majority of the dreamers in the dream creating duality to create the self to fill time in the dream with the fiction is is a person having a real life outside of the dream. Mind, in other words, populates the dream with dreamers who know “reality” is the dream mind is dreaming, and dreamers who use the invented self in the dream to argue for separation from mind in order to defend the fiction they are real people having real lives outside the dream mind is dreaming.
There is no such thing as duality if mind is all there is. This dream mind is dreaming features the vast majority of the dreamers in this dream relying on the fiction defection from mind is possible (duality) so they can play the part of ‘real people’ in this dream. The point is, there are no people doing anything in this dream: only dreamers displaying where they are in the dream with the fact mind is dreaming ‘everything,’ just the way it manifests as ‘right now.’ The dreamer’s level of awareness in the dream falls somewhere between awake in the dream, and deep in trance, relying on amnesia to keep truth obscure so it can create duality to create the self to prolong the fiction this is not a dream, and all the dreamers in the dream are the people they imPERSONate in the dream.
There is no part of ‘right now’ that isn’t content in the dream mind is dreaming. If the dream features you ‘waking up’ in the dream, you reconnect with the fact you are a dreamer in the dream mind is dreaming, and there are no people, only dreamers filling time defending the fiction they can prove truth is false with the invented self. Since there are no people, the option for someone to become “enlightened” is comedy in the dream because the dream doesn’t include people to be, or become anything, ever, including “enlightened.”
When a dreamer wakes up in the dream, it wakes up to the truth the dream is what ‘right now’ is; there are no people, only dreamers counting on the fictitious self to prove truth is false. This is viewed accurately as a comedy in a charade because the option for a dreamer in the dream to prove it is a ‘real person’ is zero, and the dream features the dreamer’s reluctance to surrender to the fact the self doesn’t belong to a person; it belongs to the dreamer trying to prove it is a person while in the dream. This takes us to the origin of humor: the dream features the dreamers in hot pursuit of a non existent goal, refusing to admit they know that’s the truth.
Because there are no people, only dreamers featured using the invented self to play the part of ‘real people,’ there is no one, literally to be anything at all, including ‘ignorant.’ The dream features ‘the dreamer’s ignorance’ as the centerpiece in the dream. When a dreamer is awake in the dream, it isn’t ‘ignorant’ because it knows there is no way the invented self can cancel its status as a dreamer in the dream. ‘Ignorance’ is zero in the dream when a dreamer is flat with the fact there are no people, and no self can alter the dreamer’s status in the dream.
The dream features ‘ignorance’ as the epitome of comedy when a dreamer in the dream relies on the fiction it can alter its status in the dream with the invented self. The dream features it attempting to shift from a dreamer in the dream to a person in the dream with the invented self. Because we can only be dreamers in this mind generated dream, ‘ignorance’ reflects how much duality each dreamer requires in the dream to defend the fiction the self it uses in the dream is real.
At low duality, you often see a dreamer playing the part of a ‘nice person,’ with minimal defensiveness abut the self they use in the dream to do PERSONhood believably. As duality increases, the attachment to the lie the self is real increases, and defensiveness increases dramatically. For example, if the dream features you insisting the self you have is worthless, flawed or unloveable, ‘ignorance’ shows up as your commitment to the fiction you are who you portray in the dream. The lie you are a ‘real person’ hinges on the lie the skit you occupy with the self you assembled is who you insist you are.
There is no one to be any kind of a person, so ‘ignorance’ displays the intensity each dreamer brings to the fiction it is a real person, and it has a ‘damaged self’ to prove it. This is ‘ignorance’ in the dream because no dreamer can defect from its status as a dreamer in this dream, and ‘ignorance’ displays how it defends the lie it is the not okay person it portrays in the dream.
As far as ‘ignorance’ goes in this dream, the most convincing ImPERSONation is any imPERSONation in which the dreamer defends the lie it is a real person because it has ‘something wrong with it.’ There is no one to have anything wrong with them, so the defense of this fiction requires a high level of duality, the lie the story that runs their ImPERSONation is valid, a negative, not okay self, and the victim parody they occupy to do PERSONhood convincingly. Ignorance is ‘ignorant’ because the dreamer is willing to endure high levels of suffering in defense of the lie suffering can prove the dreamer is a real, less than okay person. There are no people doing anything in this dream. This dream features ‘the dreamers using the invented self to sustain the fiction they are real people in this dream.’ This makes ‘ignorance’ the centerpiece in this dream, and once you wake up in the dream, it is transparent. It is not a mistake that “The Victim Parody” occupies center stage in this dream. Once you retrieve the fact mind features you stuck in this parody, everyone becomes obvious.
The question is, how does a dreamer in this dream deal with ‘ignorance’ when it is the backbone of this dream? Once you are clear there are no people, only dreamers relying on the invented self to imPERSONate people, you give everyone space to fill time with their parody, knowing there is no one to have anything wrong with them. In the awakened state, there are no people to react to, so reactivity is viewed accurately as more ‘ignorance.’ This one is busy playing off the fiction called ‘inferiority’ with ‘superiority,’ and this is transparent, so you just view this activity as content in this dream. Once you accept the fact there are no people in this dream, all reactivity is viewed accurately as ‘ignorance.’ You shift from react mode to a watcher of the dream mind is dreaming. You get to witness the intensity the dreamers bring to the fiction the invented self will confirm they are people. You get to witness how upset they are that no parody, no matte how believable, has any chance to revoke the fact all of this drama can only be content in this dream.
In my case, I get to work with dreamers who want to explore “The Recovery Process,” or what it take for a dreamer in the dream to let go of who it imPERSONates, so it can enjoy the simplicity that goes with being who they are: a dreamer in this dream. Truth minus the imPERSONATION = ‘The Awakened State,’ and what goes with letting go of the fictitious self is humor, tranquility, and a different way to fill time. The more the dreamer wakes up in the dream, the less time it spends stuck in ‘ignorance.’ The rewards in this dream are considerable, like the reduction in suffering that goes with defending a fiction as a fact when that’s not possible.
