The Care and Handling of the Ego

August 12th, 2011

‘Waking up’ includes the shift from the fiction the ego (self) is real, to the realization it is what ‘we’ get to defend as real in this fantasy called “reality.” If the ego can’t prove we are who we imPERSONate, then the question is, who exists to find that out? In the absence of people, being defended with the imaginary ego, it would have to be our old friend ‘the dreamer’ in this dream. Waking up includes the realization only ‘the dreamer’ in the dream exists to wake up, and only when the dream features that happening in the dream.

If mind is all there is, then right now is the dream mind is dreaming, featuring as “The Main Event” the imaginary ego defending the fiction it is a ‘real person’ in this dream. If mind is all there is, then ‘reality’ provides the setting for the imaginary ego to prolong the fiction it not only exists as a ‘real person,’ but suffering will prove it. If all of this can only be content in this dream mind is dreaming, then mind is dreaming ‘the dreamers’ creating duality as the prerequisite to suffering, since separation from that which is dreaming this dream isn’t possible. The dream features all the ways the imaginary ego creates duality, or the fiction of separation, to use suffering to do PERSONhood believably. » Read more: The Care and Handling of the Ego

Early Morning Boot Up

October 23rd, 2010

The dream mind is dreaming features TAG, or “The Anti-Truth Game,” as “The Main event” in this dream. All the dreamers share the same problem: it isn’t possible for a dreamer in the dream to prove it is a person, no matter what it does in the dream to sustain the lie that’s possible. You can tell the difference between a low and high TAG dreamer by the intensity of their reiterated behavior. As TAG increases, desperation increases because nothing can prove a dreamer in the dream is a person. When you wake up in the dream, you are free to review the behavior you reiterate because it captures how you fill time ‘trying to prove truth is false.’ To be awake is to view this accurately as “The Main Event” in the dream, and that it has nothing to do with people.

Once you reconnect with the fact truth is absolute, you realize perseveration goes with the dreamer’s determination to defend the fiction the game of TAG is winnable. This takes you to the birthplace of humor in this dream: all the dreamers in the dream pursue the fiction what they do, say, think and feel, will prove truth is false, eventually. Since this isn’t possible in this dream, what you witness is the degree of stuckness, somewhere in consciousness between waking up and firmly entrenched in the fiction the parody the dreamer reiterates will prove the game of TAG is winnable. This is the central fantasy dreamers defend in this dream. In truth, this being a dream, there is no one to prove truth is false. » Read more: Early Morning Boot Up

Compassion

September 24th, 2010

Compassion goes with waking up in this dream. When you wake up, you know right now is the dream mind is dreaming, and that it features TAG (“The Anti-truth Game”), or the sum of all the ways the dreamers defend and maintain the lie they are a person in this dream. Because this lie is indefensible, the defense of this lie fills the dream with drama, often referred to as “man’s inhumanity to man.”

Since no one is, or can prove it is, a person in this dream, the dream features the dreamers competing to see whose personhood parody defends “The Master Lie” convincingly, that right now is real and not a dream, and that the dreamers are the people they portray in this dream. No dreamer drama has any chance to revoke the fact the dream is the context for this drama. Defending the lie it’s possible for a dreamer in the dream to prove it is the person it insists it is, is impossible. it is the seeing of this accurately that results in compassion for the dreamers. » Read more: Compassion

Fear

If right now is the dream mind is dreaming, then everything can only be content in the dream mind is dreaming, including ‘the dreamers,’ and how they fill time ‘defending the lie it’s possible to prove truth is false.’ The dream mind is dreaming features the dreamers pretending, over and over again, it’s possible to prove truth is false. If truth includes the fact right now is the dream mind is dreaming, then there is no one to prove truth is false. This makes this “The Main Event” in this dream.

The dream mind is dreaming features TAG, or “The Anti-truth Game,” which captures the sum of all the ways mind features the dreamers filing time pretending it’s possible to prove truth is false. TAG is “The Main Event” in this dream, and when the dream features you awake in the dream, you not only know how you fill time with the lie it’s possible to prove truth is false, everyone else becomes increasingly transparent. It is no accident that the seeing of this clearly takes you to the origin of humor: there are no people to be the doer of anything, so right features everything the dreamers do in this dream to prove truth is false. Mind dreams the dreamers dismissing the fact mind is the dreamer of this dream so they can fill time with the impossible task of trying to prove truth is false. No one can win the game of TAG because the dream is the context for the game. TAG displays how the dreamers defend the lie they are real people in a real reality having ‘real lives’ outside the dream mind is dreaming. » Read more: Fear

The Art of Personhood

August 15th, 2010

The dream features TAG, or all the ways mind features the dreamers creating duality to pretend they can prove nothing is content in the dream mind is dreaming. This is “The Grand Parody” because mind is dreaming the dreamers feigning defection from mind with the fiction duality is real. If mind is all there is, then there is no duality, only mind including this in “The Grand Parody” to feature how the dreamers fill time in the dream defending the fiction they are ‘real people’ having ‘real lives’ outside the dream mind is dreaming.

When waking up happens in the dream, it is clear right now is the dream mind is dreaming, and that it features how the dreamers create duality to prove mind doesn’t exist, and right now is hardly what mind is dreaming. This is what makes this a parody: no dreamer in the dream is, or can prove it is, any kind of a person, no matter how much it feigns defection from mind. ‘Feigning defection from mind is “The Main Event” in this dream.

Truth becomes transparently obvious once you wake up in the dream. Every dreamer in this dream displays how much duality it creates to defend the fiction it is a real person and not a dreamer in the dream featured ‘trying to prove truth is false.’ Because right now is the dream mind is dreaming, “the option to prove truth is false is zero.” Every dreamer relies on the fiction its brand of duality will work to prove truth is false. Mind includes ‘amnesia’ in the dream so the dreamers can pretend they forgot truth is absolute. How could a dreamer in a dream ever hope to prove it is a person? That’s why time provides the venue for this parody. » Read more: The Art of Personhood
